Managing Director
Trevor
Trevor Fitzgerald is the owner and founder of Fitzgerald Jewellers, opening our now award-winning shop back in 2001 at 26 Burgate.
​
Trevor started out in the industry as a travelling representative for various jewellery brands but honed in on his dreams of owning his own shop when he returned to Canterbury.
​
With over 40 years of experience within the trade, Trevor is recognised for his lifetime contribution to jewellery which has seen him pursue unique and often adventurous business plans that have landed him where he is today.
​
His passion for Fitzgerald Jewellers is unrivalled. He remains the team's biggest cheerleader and loves to pop in from time to time to encourage our ambitions for the shop.

Manager
Olivia
The Manager of Fitzgerald Jewellers, Olivia has worked for us for over 8 years.
​
Olivia has a keen eye for detail. She led the shop design and renovations which enabled us to win Store Design of the Year in 2018 and again at the UK Jewellery Awards in 2022.
​
Her industry insight has paved the way for her to be invited as a judge at the UK Jewellery Awards for two years in a row. She has contributed to articles for the New York Times, Financial Times and Retail Jeweller.
​
Olivia studied hard for her JET Professional Jewellers Management Diploma and is an active member of the JET Business Network, a community for retail jewellers.
Supervisor
Rosie
Rosie has worked for us for over 4 years now. She is the supervisor of Fitzgerald Jewellers and oversees the day to day running of the shop floor.
​
Rosie has completed her JET Professional Jewellers Certificate. She has worked hard to become extremely knowledgeable in designing and quoting for bespoke jewellery commissions. Rosie works closely alongside the workshop managing all of your bespoke orders as they work their way through the system.
​
Rosie's favourite part of her job is talking to customers and helping them make their dreams of bespoke jewellery become a reality.
Diamond Mounter
Luke
Luke is our Diamond Mounter here at Fitzgerald Jewellers. He has worked for us for 4 years however has over 14 years of experience in the trade.
​
Luke completed his apprenticeship in Hatton Garden and was awarded his City & Guilds Professional Recognition Award via The Goldsmiths Centre which reflects the quality of his commitment and the training received from his Master.
​
Alongside his other achievements, Luke received silver and bronze awards in the Annual World Skillls UK Competition for his work submitted to the show. He continues to use his traditional skills to handcraft jewellery in our workshop.
Sales Associate
Abi
Abi has been with the team for over 3 years. She's a self confessed jewellery enthusiast and a fantastic asset to our shop floor team.
​
Abi completed her degree at the University of Kent in Modern History and went on to complete her Masters there too all whilst pursuing her passion for the jewellery trade.
​
Abi has a keen eye for visual details. She works hard on new ideas to develop the shop's reach whether that be through the website or window displays. You'll find Abi taking the lead in making sure our window displays and shop floor are always looking neat, tidy and ready for the day ahead.

Sales Associate
Amy
Amy joined Fitzgerald Jewellers in 2023, the same year that she gained FGA status (Fellowship of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain) after achieving a distinction in the most prestigious qualification, the Gem-A Gemmology Diploma. She was awarded the Anderson Medal and Anderson-Bank Prize for achieving the top foundation and theory grades among that year's graduates.

Alongside this qualification, Amy also has her Professional Jewellers Diploma which she also passed with distinction. Amy has a passion for learning and will often pursue independent studies to broaden her knowledge of jewellery.

Sales Associate
Emma
Emma has worked for Trevor for over 5 years across his jewellery businesses. Her loyalty to the brand led her to start working for Fitzgerald Jewellers in September 2023.
​
Emma completed her degree at the University of Kent in Political Science. With a keen passion for communication, she enjoys helping with events and marketing projects as well as our social media pages.
​
Emma loves the welcoming atmosphere at the shop and makes it her mission to ensure our customers feel at ease when they shop with us.​

Liv
Liv's family have a long history of working within the jewellery trade and now she has been passed the baton joining our team here at Fitzgerald Jewellers in April 2023.
​

Liv has completed her JET Essentials course - an important introduction to key topics such as jewellery, gemstones, design, precious metals and hallmarking.
